Nisar Khokhar of Basking Ridge, NJ has over four decades of leadership experience in the pharmaceutical industry and has developed collaborative programs for government departments, hospitals, and community health facilities. The principal and founder of an NJ-based pharmaceutical distribution company, Nisar Khokhar secured more than $350 million in government contracts and oversaw more than 100 direct employees.
Internationally, Mr. Khokhar worked with the US State Department in collaboration with AFRICOM to develop medical equipment and kits for distribution through various community initiatives in Africa. He also developed a phenylketonuria (PKU) testing program for newborn babies through the Saudi Ministers of Health.
Previously, Mr. Khokhar spent three years as the chief executive officer of Deen Prefilled Syringes, a $30 million manufacturing plant acquired from Baxter Healthcare. Before selling the company to a large Chinese company, he resolved compliance failures, overhauled human resources and distribution, and automated production to help double sales. He has a bachelor of science in pharmacy from Punjab University in Lahore, Pakistan.
